We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and experience working with databases and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to optimize data workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or prior experience in a data-related role.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
