We are seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Design Engineer / Draftsman (Mechanical) with 1–2 years of experience to support our design and drafting activities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), have a strong grasp of mechanical drafting principles, and a good understanding of engineering documentation and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.

- Assist in mechanical design layouts and component detailing.

- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy in ERP systems (SAP preferred).

- Support basic mechanical calculations, GD&T; application,



and tolerance analysis.

- Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME).

- Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams for feasibility and improvements.

- Maintain clean documentation and support senior engineers with design change notes and reports.

Required Skills:

- Solid CAD drafting skills in SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo

- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals

- Understanding of GD&T; and standard mechanical components

- Exposure to BOM handling and ERP systems (SAP preferred)

- Good communication, teamwork, and learning attitude
