Job Designation: Jr. Engineer Industry Civil

Job Location: Surat Years of Experience: 3-4 years of experience in QC roles within civil construction or infrastructure projects

Roles and Responsibilities

- Perform regular inspection and testing of construction materials (cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, etc.) as per IS/ASTM codes.
- Monitor quality of site execution activities (RCC, shuttering, masonry, finishing, fabrication, welding, etc.).
- Assist in preparing test reports for incoming materials, site processes, and final products.
- Ensure documentation of all QC-related formats, checklists, and compliance records.
- Report any deviations from quality standards to the QC InCharge and ensure corrective actions are initiated.
- Support third-party inspections, audits, and customer quality requirements.
- Maintain and update quality registers including cube test reports, pour cards, and work approvals.
- Conduct site-level coordination with engineers, lab technicians, and contractors for ensuring QA/QC compliance.




- Assist in implementing and improving site quality plans and control procedures.

Skills & Education:

- Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of civil construction material testing procedures, field quality checks, and comprehensive quality documentation.
- Thorough familiarity with relevant Indian and International codes and standards such as IS, ASTM, MORTH, and IRC, along with project-specific quality specifications.
- Robust understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and quality assurance/quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Good verbal and written communication
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and QC documentation tools
- Ability to work on field and in lab environments
