AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

1. NETWORKING
1.



Assist in the setup and maintenance of network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

2. Assist in monitoring and optimizing network performance, identifying and resolving connectivity and performance issues.

3. Assist with the setup, management, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers.

- HARDWARE

1. Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software.

2. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.

3. Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new hardware and networking technologies to improve efficiency and performance.

- OPERATIONS

1. Setup & configuration of software packages & new computers.

2. Vendor Management - Identify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors.

3. IT Asset Management - Assist in managing and maintaining inventory records, documentation, hardware assets, licenses, and warranties.

4.



Records & Documentation - Participate in the maintenance and documentation of network diagrams, inventories, and equipment configurations, and organize and maintain IT resources.

5. Collaborate with the IT team on ad-hoc projects and tasks related to hardware and networking.

- TECH SUPPORT

1. Assisting staff with utilization of various office technologies.

2. Provide IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, data center management, and troubleshooting hardware and network-related problems, offering timely technical assistance and collaborating with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.

3. Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs.

*May be required to perform additional responsibilities and projects upon request.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelors/ Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.

- Software and Applications Proficiency:

- Have understanding of both Windows and MacOS systems.

- MS Office

- Ability to learn new applications and softwares quickly.

- Qualities & Capabilities:

- Tech Savvy.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
