- Design and plan for creation of Databases, Web logic Server, IBM WAS , DataPower, BizTalk
- Manage all Databases and middleware tech stack (Production & Development)
- Working knowledge on ISAM and ISIM
- Working knowledge on IBM Data Power
- Knowledge on Privileged Identity Management
- Knowledge on Analytics tool (QlikSense, Power BI)
- Understanding of replication technologies and ETL
- Understanding of DR setup and to plan and execute DR drills in-line with Organization Policies
- Good experience in trouble shooting (Development environment & Production environment)
- Explore new technology and define upgrade procedure for middleware and databases
- Support for issues related to performance and deployment of Application
- Actively participating in Performance tuning and Benchmarking of Application

Responsibilities

Middleware Administrator

- The Middleware Administrator supports and documents the installation, configuration, capacity planning, upgrading, problem resolution and debugging of all middleware environments
- Collaborates on definition of infrastructure standards and contribute to the overall architecture roadmap
- Collaborates on technical design and provides consulting including identification and documentation of requirements and design
- Coordinate environment configuration activities to ensure integration and alignment with other IT technology, processes, systems, applications, and environments
- Collaborates in the installation, configuration and upgrading of enterprise technology,



customizing soft tables and program parameters and managing associated environments
- Document middleware platforms and related infrastructure as directed with respect to functionality, maintenance, and administration
- Install and configure server operating systems, enterprise software and middleware services, including settings, directories, storage, in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Recommend and lead improvements to provide the highest level of availability and performance
- Provides technical support and guidance (level 4) to end-users, and other IT resources
- Follows policies and procedures to ensure corporate compliance, examples include corporate data security and change control

DBA Responsibilities

- Understand and plan database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
- Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
- Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply recent patches and versions when required
- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
