Key Responsibilities

Sensory Analysis:

Develop and execute sensory evaluation protocols for new and existing products.
Conduct sensory testing, including descriptive analysis, consumer testing, and preference analysis.
Collaborate with the NPD team to refine recipes and formulations based on sensory feedback.
Maintain and update sensory databases and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Quality Assurance

Implement and monitor quality control processes across production lines to ensure adherence to product specifications.




Conduct regular inspections and sensory checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Investigate customer complaints related to sensory or quality issues and provide actionable solutions.
Stay updated on food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, etc.) and ensure compliance across all products.

Qualifications And Skills

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Science, Food technology, Food and nutrition, Nutrition & Dietetics
College preference- NIFTEM
Experience: 2+ years in sensory analysis or quality assurance in the food industry.
Should have extensive knowledge of ISO
Technical Skills: Proficient in sensory evaluation techniques, quality testing tools, and statistical analysis software.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
