About the Role

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic law students to join our team as Legal Interns. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to the day-to-day functioning of a law firm and an opportunity to work on real legal matters under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, case analysis, documentation, compliance, and client-related work, while developing strong legal, analytical, and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research on applicable statutes, rules, regulations, case laws, and legal issues.

- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal notices, briefs, applications, agreements, opinions, and other legal documents.

- Assist in case preparation, documentation, file management, and maintaining matter-related records.

- Attend and assist during client meetings, internal discussions, and court or other legal proceedings, where required.

- Prepare legal research notes, case summaries, briefs, and other research materials on assigned topics.

- Assist with contract review, compliance matters, due diligence, and other corporate/legal assignments, as applicable.

- Assist in reviewing and organising precedents, legal resources, templates, and internal knowledge materials.

- Support the legal team with any other research, drafting, or documentation requirements related to ongoing matters.

What We Look For

- Students currently pursuing LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B., or an equivalent law degree.

- Strong legal research and analytical skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with legal documents.

- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.

- Basic understanding of legal databases and research tools is preferred.





- Prior internship experience in a law firm, legal department, or corporate legal environment will be an added advantage.

Requirements

Eligibility:

- Law students from any year of a 3-year or 5-year law course

- Strong interest in litigation, corporate law, contracts, research, or compliance

- Positive legal reasoning, drafting, and communication skills

- Basic knowledge of legal databases and MS Office/Google Docs is preferred
