About the role
You will own our water purifier business across your area — the distributors who stock us, the dealers who sell us, and the modern trade stores where we sit on shelf. This is a market-facing role. You will be out with your team most of the week, opening outlets, fixing stock issues, and pushing sell-out.
What you will own
Area number. Primary and secondary sales for your area, month on month. Stock cover, collections and claims hygiene.
General Trade. Appoint and manage distributors and sub-dealers across your towns. Build and audit beat plans. Drive numeric and weighted distribution, recent-outlet addition, and range selling. Manage distributor ROI, credit cycles and DSR productivity.
Modern Trade. Handle regional chain stores in your area and execute national chain plans locally at Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales. Own on-shelf availability, planogram compliance, in-store visibility and promoter output.
Team. Lead three to six Territory Sales Incharges and your in-store promoters. Daily review cadence, joint market working, and on-ground coaching.




Service linkage. Coordinate with the local service team on installation TATs, AMC penetration and filter-replacement attach rates. In this category, a bad service experience kills the next three sales.
What we are looking for
Four to eight years in consumer durables or consumer electronics field sales in India, with at least one to two years managing TSIs or equivalent.
Hands-on across both GT and MT — you have appointed a distributor yourself, and you have worked a chain store's shelf, not just heard about it.
Water purifier, small appliance or other service-linked durable experience preferred. Backgrounds from Aquaguard, Eureka Forbes, Kent RO, Pureit, A.O. Smith, Livpure, Havells, Blue Star, Crompton, V-Guard and Voltas all welcome.
Numbers you can defend: outlets added, distributors appointed, distribution and share-of-shelf gains, secondary sales growth.
