Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer with 2–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and drafting. The candidate should have hands-on experience in IBR, pressure vessel, tank, structural, ducting and piping drawings and be proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Inventor.
Develop IBR, pressure vessel, tank, structural, ducting and piping drawings.
Prepare fabrication and manufacturing drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
Interpret engineering calculations, design inputs and technical specifications.
Prepare and modify 2D and 3D models as per project requirements.
Coordinate with design, engineering, production and project teams for drawing-related requirements.
Incorporate design changes and maintain updated drawing revisions.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and project specifications.
Support the engineering team in resolving design and drafting-related issues.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
Required Skills
Positive knowledge of mechanical engineering drawing principles.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
Knowledge of piping, ducting, structural and pressure vessel drawings.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
