Role Description The Senior Manager Statutory Audit role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves leading statutory audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment, audit strategy development,



execution of procedures, and review of work papers and deliverables. The Senior Manager will manage and mentor audit teams, ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and maintain high-quality client service. Responsibilities include coordinating with client management, resolving complex accounting and reporting issues, preparing and reviewing audit reports and documentation, and supporting partners in business development activities related to audit services. The role also requires monitoring engagement timelines, resource allocation, and adherence to firm methodologies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong statutory audit and assurance experience, including leading audits of medium to large entities and interpreting accounting and auditing standards.
Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting principles (Ind AS/IGAAP, IFRS exposure preferred),
