Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, in office position based in Patna. The person in this role will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting preparation of invoices, bills, and payment vouchers. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, tracking accounts payable and receivable, and helping prepare periodic financial reports.



The Junior Accountant will support compliance with internal controls, assist in maintaining accurate documentation for audits, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data. This role also involves working with senior accounting staff to implement accounting best practices and improve financial processes.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation.
Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and MS Excel for data entry and reporting.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data, documentation, and financial records.
Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
