Global Technology Scouting & Supplier Development Manager
The Global Technology Scouting & Supplier Development Manager is responsible for identifying emerging technologies and building a capable global supplier ecosystem to support current and future product strategies. The role bridges technology innovation, engineering,
and supply chain to enable cost‑competitive, scalable, and high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, set up, and execute supplier performance management.
- Perform a yearly review of strategic equipment suppliers within BA UX globally and align a dedicated gap mitigation action plan.
- Support technology development and validation of innovative manufacturing technologies at supplier sites.
- Support alignment of sourcing release for current equipment and special process suppliers.
- Support the establishment of Continental BA UX Production Standards and Multi-Use Equipment.
- Scout and evaluate emerging technologies, suppliers, and startups aligned with business and product roadmaps
- Lead supplier identification, qualification, and capability development activities globally
