Role Overview
The Manager will play a senior leadership role within KPMG India’s Regulatory practice, managing complex regulatory engagements, leading client relationships, and directly interfacing with senior Central and State Government officials.
The role is designed to operate with significant autonomy, client ownership and responsibility.
This position requires deep understanding of India’s regulatory ecosystem, strong judgment, and the ability to convert regulatory complexity into practical business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Engagement Leadership
• Lead end‑to‑end regulatory engagements involving:
• Central Ministries (e.g., DPIIT, MCA, MeitY, MHA, MEA, MoF, MoCI)
• State Governments, State Secretariats and State‑level authorities
• Regulators and statutory bodies (e.g., SEBI, RBI, IRDAI, State regulators)
Act as the primary day‑to‑day point of contact for senior client stakeholders
• Advise clients on:
• Regulatory strategy, risk assessment and mitigation
• Licensing, approvals, structuring and regulatory readiness
• Regulatory support for M&A;, FDI, IPOs and major investments
Manage interactions with regulators,
