We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong on-premises focus to support critical enterprise deployments. This role is central to managing infrastructure across servers, virtualization, security, and networking layers — specifically for DCDR implementations. The candidate will ensure high availability, compliance, and operational efficiency while collaborating with Dev, QA, and InfoSec teams.

Key Responsibilities / Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, install, configure, and migrate on-prem server, storage, and virtualization systems for DCDR scenarios

- Manage virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or ProxMox
- Implement and maintain monitoring via ManageEngine OPM and logging via Splunk
- Design and enforce security best practices: IAM, RBAC, VPN, SSL, firewalls
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations: ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR
- Configure and maintain enterprise network services and load balancers (Nginx, HAProxy, ALB)
- Administer and troubleshoot database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and storage systems (SAN, NAS)
- Automate tasks and infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and scripting languages
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and Security teams to ensure seamless operations
- Provide root cause analysis and swift resolution for infrastructure incidents
- Document all configurations, SOPs, and recovery procedures ⸻
