End-to-End responsibility and accountability on building up a product that balances a good level of standardization and scalability with a reasonable level of customization.
Consultancy :
- Translates functional requirements into technical specifications
- Leverage the business/process knowledge in the teams and define the best technical design of recent functionalities
- Drive for sustainable solutions
- Leverages the use of standard functionalities to reduce non-standard development
Development :
- Customize a third-party ABAP–based solution
- Develop new functionalities as add-ons for the Yard Management Standard Solution
- Handle the interfaces with central systems like SAP ERP, TM or EWM.
- Customization of SAP ERP, TM, eWM, etc.
- Handle global as well as site specific releases according to pre-defined release management processes (SOLMAN)
Quality assurance :
- Perform Unit testing to ensure a high quality of the code delivered
- Support PO’s with the functional testing and the UAT
- Automate regression tests
Collaboration :
- Leverage multicultural and geographically distributed team to build up the best solution
- Collaborate in a global team of technical and functional experts.
- Drive innovation on how to keep enhancing the product
- Active participation in designing a global yard logistics template for BASF
Required skills, knowledge and experiences
SAP :
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in working as ABAP developer or similar role.
