Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) organization. The AMS team develops a broad portfolio of Interface and Power Management integrated circuits serving datacenter, industrial, networking, communications, and multi-market applications. Our Power Management portfolio includes PMICs, Point-of-Load (PoL) converters, power controllers, eFuses, and digital power management solutions. Our Interface portfolio includes USB-to-UART, USB-to-Ethernet, PCIe-to-UART controllers, RS-232/RS-485 transceivers, digital isolators, power isolators, GPIO expanders, and other connectivity products.
- Develop RTL designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog for ASIC and FPGA implementations.
- Participate in architecture and microarchitecture discussions based on product requirements.
- Perform block-level design, integration, debug, and verification support activities.
- Work closely with verification, AMS, applications, firmware, and physical design teams.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, specifications, and interface definitions.




- Support LINT, CDC, synthesis, STA, and design sign-off activities.
- Participate in silicon bring-up, characterization, and root-cause analysis of product issues.
- Contribute to IP evaluation, integration, and reuse across multiple products.
- Support low-power implementation techniques such as clock gating and power optimization.
- Drive continuous improvements in design quality, productivity, and development methodologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of experience in digital ASIC/SoC design and implementation using Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Solid understanding of CMOS fundamentals, digital logic design, and ASIC methodologies
