Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Hyderabad Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days
About the Role
As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced cyber security solutions to protect Hyland's systems, networks, and data from evolving cyber threats. You will play a critical role in the development, deployment, and administration of security technologies while providing expert-level support for cyber security incidents and operations. This role requires solid technical expertise in network and system security, secure architecture design, security tool implementation, and incident response — and is ideal for a seasoned security professional who operates with autonomy, leads with influence, and is deeply committed to continuous learning.
Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, systems, and infrastructure to mitigate cyber security risks; develop and enforce security policies, standards,
and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Evaluate, deploy, and configure security technologies including IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, web filtering, endpoint protection, DLP, CSPM, IAM, and SIEM solutions; develop and maintain security toolsets, scripts, and automation workflows to enhance security operations and incident response capabilities
- Conduct security assessments and audits of existing systems to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses; partner with the business to solve complex technology challenges by applying security by design and privacy by design principles
- Provide expert-level support for the investigation and response to cyber security incidents including breaches, malware infections, and insider threats; conduct forensic analysis to determine the root cause, scope, and impact of security breaches
