We currently have an prospect for either an Assistant or Associate Consultant (depending on level of experience) to join the AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre in India. The role involves significant work on UK and International projects being delivered by the AtkinsRéalis UK Sustainable Land and Resource Management practice across a range of market sectors like Highways, Rail, Tunnels, including the development of Cities, Mass Transit and Energy infrastructure.
We are looking for an individual with knowledge and experience of Environmental Site Assessments and Investigations, chemical assessment and quantitative risk assessment relating to land contamination,
waste and brownfield regeneration, to join our Environment team and support an expanding project workload and client base.
Your role
- 2-5 years’ experience in conducting Phase 1 Site Assessment and Phase 2 intrusive Site Investigation, with experience of multiple site investigation techniques.
- Post Graduate Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science subject e.g. geology, geosciences, chemistry, environmental science and hydrogeology.
- Demonstrate good, relevant land contamination/brownfield land experience in Phase 1 Desk Studies.
- Knowledge and technical understanding of conceptual site models and generic risk assessments for soils and waters.
- Proficient ability to interpret, review and analyse large and complex soil and water data sets.
- Experience of producing well written factual and interpretative reports.
