1. Passenger Assistance:
- Greet passengers upon their arrival at the airport and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist passengers with check-in procedures, security checks, and boarding processes.
- Offer guidance and information about flight schedules, gate changes, baggage claim, and other relevant airport services.
2. Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Handle difficult or irate passengers with patience and professionalism, resolving issues to the best of your ability or escalating to higher authorities when necessary.
- Ensure that passengers with special needs, such as children, elderly individuals, or individuals with disabilities, receive extra assistance as required.
3. Lost and Found Assistance:
- Assist passengers in locating lost baggage or personal items by liaising with the airport's lost and found department and coordinating the retrieval process.
4. VIP Services (if applicable):
- Provide special services to VIP passengers, such as escorting them through arranging ground transportation, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
5. Appearance and Conduct: - Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself with courtesy and professionalism at all times.
6. Shift Work: - Shift Work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as airports operate around the clock.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in hospitality or tourism is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress setting.
- Knowledge of airport operations and procedures (training may be provided).
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Multilingual skills are often an advantage.
