Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems at our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Baddi. The role demands a robust understanding of cleanroom HVAC standards (ISO, GMP) and regulatory compliance required for a pharma production environment.

Reporting to the Engineering/Maintenance Manager, your Key responsibilities include:

- Install, operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units (AHUs), chillers, compressors, dehumidifiers, ductwork, and building management systems (BMS)- controlled systems.

- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines related to HVAC performance in cleanrooms, production, packaging, and storage areas.

- Monitor HVAC parameters (temperature, humidity, differential pressure) and ensure their documentation as per SOPs.

- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain air quality standards.

- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to HVAC equipment.

- Maintain records for maintenance, calibration, and validation activities.

- Support HVAC validation activities including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation.

- Coordinate with QA/Validation/Production teams for compliance audits and inspections.

- Handle HVAC system alarms, breakdowns, and emergency repairs efficiently.

- Follow EHS protocols while performing maintenance and repair activities.





Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Electrical Engineering.

- Experience: 3–8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC systems in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing plant.

- Skills & Knowledge:

- Sound knowledge of HVAC standards for cleanrooms.

- Familiarity with GMP, WHO-GMP, EU-GMP compliance requirements.

- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is preferred.

- Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems.
