DDS is seeking a Senior Data Scientist based in Amgen India to deliver advanced analytics and data science solutions in close partnership with global R&D; stakeholders. This role will report to the India Principal Data Scientist and operate as a hands-on individual contributor,



with no formal line management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will apply an analytics-first mindset, independently owning analytical problem solving from concept through implementation, while collaborating closely with onshore DDS leadership, business partners, and IS/DTI teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Hands-On Analytics & Solution Delivery
- Apply an analytics-first mindset to R&D; by designing and delivering advanced analytical solutions using up-to-date statistical, data science, and AI/ML techniques
- Independently design, build, implement, launch, and maintain analytical solutions aligned to business strategies, goals, and roadmaps
- Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert for data, analytics, and metrics, providing practical, actionable insights to stakeholders
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into well-scoped analytical approaches
