Position Title: Senior Back-end Developer

Job Description

The Senior Back-end Developer would play a critical
role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of
web applications. This role combines expertise in backend development with the
ability to collaborate with frontend developers and work with databases.

The Senior Back-end Developer is expected to lead
backend development projects, work closely with frontend developers to deliver
fully functional web applications and contribute to the success of the
development team by ensuring backend systems are robust, productive, and secure.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or a related field
- 7-10 years’ experience in programming using Python
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL
- Experience with Django web framework and ReactJS.
- Experience in Operating Systems – Windows, Linux, MAC.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS,
Azure, Google Cloud).





Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Develop and maintain
server-side logic, APIs, and web services that power web applications, ensuring
high performance, scalability, and security.
- Database Management: Design, optimize, and
manage databases, including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
- API Development: Create and maintain
APIs for frontend applications and third-party integrations, following best
practices and industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve
performance bottlenecks in the backend code, database queries, and
infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance.
- Security: Implement security
best practices to protect against common web vulnerabilities, such as SQL
injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and authentication and authorization
mechanisms.
