Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a / an Business Intelligence - Snowflake Administrator to be part of making this/that happen.
Position Overview and Objective
The BI Team at Arctic Wolf runs the internal data platform used for analytics and several integrations. Our stack is Snowflake, Tableau, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran.
We need someone to keep it healthy day-to-day as data volume and the number of teams and use cases grow.
This is operations work. You are not redesigning the architecture. You are administrating it. That means access management, performance tuning, spend control, incident response, and the configuration decisions that quietly determine whether the platform is dependable. You will work with our data, governance and security teams, and you will be the point person for the health and maintenance of our platforms.
Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence - Snowflake Administrator at ARCTIC WOLF, you will:
- Snowflake Administration. Warehouses, databases, roles, user-management and resource monitors across all environments. Tuning warehouse size and auto-suspend behavior. Investigating query profiles when something is slow or expensive, and working with the people running those queries to fix the root cause rather than throw bigger war
