Job Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Pressure Vessels, you will play a critical role in the design and development of high-quality pressure vessels for various industrial applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design Engineering: Utilize PV Elite software to design pressure vessels according to ASME Code, ensuring that all designs meet safety, functionality, and customer specifications.
- Technical Analysis: Perform stress analysis, material selection, and other technical evaluations to ensure that pressure vessels are designed for optimal performance under specified conditions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, design calculations, and documentation that comply with ASME Code and other relevant industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, fabrication teams, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of design and manufacturing processes.
- Client Interaction:
Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide technical support and guidance throughout the design phase.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments in pressure vessel design and fabrication technologies to continuously improve design practices and product offerings.
Job Specification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE - Mech. Engg.).
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in designing pressure vessels, with a strong focus on using PV Elite software as per ASME Code.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in PV Elite software for pressure vessel design.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME Code requirements for pressure vessel design.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Location Flexibility: Willingness to work in Murbad, Mumbai, New Delhi, or Hyderabad as per project requirements.
