Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as Airport Ground Staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing assistance and support to passengers and airline crew members at the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers upon arrival and departure
- Check-in passengers and their baggage according to airline procedures
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist passengers with boarding procedures and ensure a smooth and efficient boarding process
- Coordinate with other airport staff to ensure on-time departure and arrival of flights
- Monitor flight schedules and make necessary announcements to passengers
- Handle and process lost and found items
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all airport and airline safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or in the aviation industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a quick-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
