Job Title: Software/Application Trainer

Reports To: IT Training Manager
Summary:
The Software/Application Trainer is responsible for educating and supporting hospital staff in the effective use of healthcare software and applications. They develop and deliver training programs, provide ongoing support, and ensure that staff are proficient in using the various software available to improve patient care and streamline workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Software team and vendors to understand the different software/applications available in the hospital.
- Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs, materials, and resources tailored to different user groups (physicians, nurses, administrative staff, etc.).
- Documentation and Updates: Maintain up-to-date training materials and documentation, ensuring that they reflect the latest software versions and features.
- Training Delivery: Conduct online / offline training sessions of the different user groups,
answer user queries related to software usage.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement in the software/applications being used.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, computer science, education, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in healthcare software training or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in various hospital software applications (HMIS, EHR, EMR, PACS, billing systems, etc.).
- Training Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand the user point of view and answer accordingly.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust training methods and content to meet the needs of different learners.
- Certification: Relevant certifications in healthcare informatics or software
