Job Description:
Design, develop, and maintain database systems using SQL technologies.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the database systems.
Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define database solutions.
Participate in database design and schema modifications.
Create and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and technical specifications.
Perform data migrations and transformations as required.
Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive information.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SQL technologies.
Should have a good understanding of Data warehousing concepts, such as normalization, and a solid understanding of OLTP and OLAP system behavior.
Proficient in building complex Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions.
Experience working with Triggers, Aggregate Functions, String functions, Window functions, cursors, and other significant SQL concepts.
Hands-on experience in creating, monitoring, and troubleshooting SQL jobs.
