RESPONSIBILITIES The role is pivotal in driving our business forward by ensuring cost-effective procurement and robust contract management, contributing directly to the bottom line and strategic growth.
The Head of Purchase and Contract is expected to :
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for construction materials, services, and capital goods, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers, maintaining strong qualified relationships.
- Coordinate with project managers and other department heads to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement to meet project timelines.
- Implement and oversee the tendering process, from document preparation to bid evaluation and vendor selection.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and contracts in India.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to adjust strategies proactively.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable and ethical supply chain.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure professional growth and alignment with company goals.

DESIRED PROFILE
Age Preferred Company Background 45+ yrs Housing Projects
Education Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement and contract management, specifically in the real estate, infrastructure and hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and extensive knowledge of contract law.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Fluent in English and Hindi; additional regional language skills are advantageous
- Proficient in ERP and procurement software.
