Job Purpose The Head of Operations, India is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Talent Systems' India entity, acting as the senior in country representative of the global organisation. The role is based at the company's primary India office in Ahmedabad, with regular travel to other India locations as required.

The General

Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across all India-based functions, ensuring the entity operates in full alignment with global priorities, standards, and values while meeting its local statutory, regulatory, and commercial obligations.

The General Manager (Head of Operations) chairs the India Management Team each of whom reports into their respective global functional leader. The GM is not their line manager, but provides incountry leadership, coordination, and accountability across the team as a whole.

The General Manager(Head of Operations) will execute the India business plan, drive performance against agreed operational and cost targets, and ensure the India team operates as a cohesive, high-performing unit. Working in close partnership with the Chief Global Officer, the General Manager will translate the company's global vision into local action, champion the India team's contribution to the wider business,



and ensureTalent Systems' India operations are positioned to scale in line with the organisation's long-term strategic ambitions.

Note: Responsibility for revenue growth in the Indian market sits with the Commercial Director. The General Manager will partner closely with the Commercial Director but is not the owner of commercial targets. P&L; accountability rests with the Chief Global Officer; the General Manager is accountable for cost management and operational performance across the India entity.

Requirements

Required

- Proven experience in a senior general management or country leadership role, ideally within a technology, SaaS or digital media organisation
- Demonstrated ability to lead and align a multi functional team in a matrix workplace, where direct authority over all team members is limited
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing a cost base and working within a budget framework
- Solid working knowledge of Indian labour law, statutory compliance, and the regulatory environment for corporate entities in India
- Experience managing physical office operations and vendor relationships in India
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within India to visit and support all office locations
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively across cultures, time zones, and reporting lines
- Experience working as part of a global organisation, with the ability to balance local needs against global requirements
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills; able to operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining clear accountability to global leadership

Preferred

- Experience in the entertainment technology, media, or SaaS industry
- Familiarity with global HR practices and experience partnering with an HRBP function
- Experience supporting or leading digital transformation, AI adoption, or automation initiatives
- Track record of building inclusive, high-engagement workplace cultures across multiple sites
- BA/BS degree required; MA/MS or MBA preferred
