The prospect:
Hitachi Energy. is seeking a skilled Controls Design Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced controls and monitoring panels for Power transformers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

How you'll make an impact:
- Develop and refine detailed Controls design, including hardware and software specifications, for Power transformers. Create and maintain comprehensive electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate control systems seamlessly.
- Develop and support functional testing plans for new control cabinets, including on-site startup, calibration, and performance tuning.




- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing control panels, identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in controls engineering, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, test plans and work instructions.
- Participate in design reviews and provide expert feedback to ensure designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
