A General Manager of Sales and Marketing leading a "Super Light Structure" division directs revenue, product launches, and brand positioning for lightweight manufacturing portfolios (e.g., UPVC, extruded aluminum, lightweight composites, or energy-productive structures). The role focuses on B2B distribution and influencer networks.

Core Responsibilities

- Strategic Go-to-Market (GTM): Design and execute launch plans for lightweight product portfolios, ensuring alignment with changing market trends.

- Network & Channel Development: Build and manage a robust distribution and dealer network. Onboard and train Channel Partners and Field Officers.

- Influencer Engagement: Establish strategic relationships with key specifiers including Architects, Structural Engineers, Builders, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs) to get products specified in blueprints.

- Revenue & P&L; Management: Establish financial targets, forecast sales, and optimize profit margins.

- Market Intelligence: Gather competitive intelligence on material costs, pricing models,



and lightweight structural trends to refine the product basket

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Sales Targets: Achieve primary and secondary sales targets within the designated territory.

- Project Pipeline: Monitor sales funnel metrics, lead conversions, and order closures.

- Market Share: Expand regional or national share-of-wallet and penetrate new industry verticals.

- Brand Approval: Increase the number of structural projects integrating your super light systems.

- Education: MBA in Sales & Marketing or Post-Graduate degree in Business Management.

- Domain Experience: 8–15 years of progressive experience in B2B building materials, structural components, or lightweight engineering.

- Competencies: Proven track record in dealer/distributor management, technical & commercial proposal generation, and team leadership.
