Job Summary:

Our client seeks leaders at the level of General Manager/Vice President to lead and manage all aspects of EPC project execution within their cement consulting business.

This role requires 25-35 years of experience in detailed engineering, structural engineering, material handling, and procurement, ideally from the cement, manufacturing, consulting, or power sectors. The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise and strategic management skills to ensure the company's sustained growth of the cement consulting business globally while applying industry best practices in a agile and challenging work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Strategic Management:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business development, oversee detailed engineering, and successful project execution aligned with corporate goals.

- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory compliance in all projects.

- Project Management:

- Oversee the execution of EPC projects in the cement or power sectors, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Maintain comprehensive responsibility for project planning, execution, and resource allocation.

- Detailed Engineering:

- Lead the detailed engineering efforts for cement and power plant systems, ensuring technical specifications meet industry standards.

- Ensure thorough documentation and compliance with safety and quality assurance standards.

- Procurement Management:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost efficiency and quality of materials and services.





- Manage the procurement process, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.

- Technical Oversight:

- Provide expert guidance in designing and engineering cement and power plant systems, including rotary equipment such as pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold quality assurance standards.

- Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.

- Lead change management initiatives to drive continuous improvement and performance enhancements.

- Financial Management:

- Oversee budget planning and financial accountability, operating as the profit center head.

- Conduct financial evaluations of project bids and manage procurement processes effectively.

- Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to foster collaboration.

- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Team Leadership:

- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability and professional growth.





- Organize training programs and performance appraisals to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Qualifications

- Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Postgraduate qualifications in Management or Marketing are preferred.

- Experience:

- 25-35+ years of experience in the energy and power sector, with significant expertise in EPC project management and detailed engineering.

- International experience would be a plus.

Skills:

- - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development and performance.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

- In-depth technical knowledge of engineering systems and processes in cement power or Process Engineering plants/consulting.
