Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with expertise in Node.JS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications using Node.JS. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working on new projects and developing according to functional team requirements
- Complying with agile-based software development methodology
- Building web applications with prescribed coding standards and industry best practices
- Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
- Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Backend Development
- Strong proficiency in Node.JS and its core modules
- Experience with MVC Frameworks like Express.JS
- Understanding and experience in using data storage technologies such as relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Working knowledge of GIT version control and repository clients like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Basic experience in AWS serverless architecture
- Experience in other Backend Technologies like Go and Python is a plus
- Experience in GraphQL API Implementation is a plus
- Knowledge of API document tools like Swagger and Postman is a plus
- Knowledge of Promise Based ORM like Sequelize is a plus
- Experience in Sail.JS is a plus
