Role and Responsibility
- Analyze the Tandem COBOL sources and generate functional insights for the Engg team, provide clarifications on the implemented behavior.
- Detailed estimation of work requests based on WBS
- Understand customer requirements, design, develop, and unit test solutions
- Preparation of technical design documents
- Walkthrough of design with Domain SME
- Review code deliverables
- Support SIT, UAT cycles
- Application deployment verification

Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience

Competencies
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
- Knowledge of TAL, COBOL, ENSCRIBE, SQL, Tandem utilities such Base24, SQL/MP
