We have an exciting chance for Asst. Manager Customer Service-Ocean Exports to manage the pricing/quotation process, serving as a single point of contact for all our pricing requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling Key Account business for Ocean Exports by sea, which includes complete coordination with shippers, consignees, carriers, freight forwarders, transporters, and CHAs for CFS and factory stuffing of containers and LCL cargo.
- Coordinating with the Overseas Office for Nomination Shipments and managing these shipments.
- Managing and reviewing export and import operations to align with ocean freight business and customer needs.
- Coordinating with the Sales and Documentation teams for shipment procedures.
- Sending quotations to customers for ocean exports and imports.
- Handling hazardous and reefer containers.
- Managing over-dimensional cargo.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers to generate more business from existing clients.
- Managing department reporting requirements, including DSR and Operation Tracking Reports.
- Effectively managing time, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Producing quality work under extreme time pressure and deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, or a related field with over 8 years of experience, including at least 4 years in Ocean Export and Import.
- Experience handling shipments of a minimum volume of 150 containers per month.
Skills/Requirements:
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
