Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Web IoT Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications that integrate with IoT devices and systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that bridge the gap between IoT hardware, cloud services, and user-facing dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
Development
· Design and develop web applications for managing, visualizing, and interacting with IoT devices and their data.
· Implement secure and efficient APIs for communication between IoT devices, gateways, and the web platform.
· Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and cloud services to enhance IoT functionalities.
· Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
Maintenance and Support
· Monitor and maintain existing IoT applications, ensuring reliability and performance.
· Debug and resolve issues in deployed applications and IoT integrations.
· Implement updates and feature enhancements based on user feedback and evolving requirements.
Security and Compliance
· Ensure end-to-end security of IoT data, including secure authentication, encryption, and data transfer.
· Adhere to industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO/IEC 27001 where applicable.
Collaboration
· Collaborate with hardware engineers, backend developers, and data scientists to ensure seamless integration between IoT devices and web applications.
· Participate in team meetings to discuss technical challenges, solutions, and roadmap planning.
Required Skills:
· Strong experience with web development frameworks like React, Angular and custom development.
· Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or similar.
· Solid understanding of IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, and WebSocket.
· Experience with cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google IoT Core, WHM/Cpanel.
· Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) for handling IoT data.
· Familiarity with API development and integration.
Preferred Skills
· Knowledge of edge computing and IoT device programming.
· Understanding of security measures for IoT data, including encryption and secure authentication protocols.
Project Management
· Skills in project planning, execution, and risk management, especially for large-scale IoT projects.
