Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in designing pressure vessels. The ideal candidate should have expertise in using PV Elite software and a robust understanding of the ASME code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pressure Vessel Design:
- Design and analyze pressure vessels in compliance with ASME code using PV Elite software.
- Perform stress analysis, material selection, and calculations for pressure vessels to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Engineering Calculations:
- Perform detailed engineering calculations related to pressure vessel design, including thickness calculations, reinforcement, and nozzle load analysis.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and review design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
- Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct design reviews, verify design calculations, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of designs.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all designs comply with ASME code requirements and other relevant standards and regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.
