The Senior Transport Executive will oversee and manage day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods and personnel. This role requires strong coordination skills, compliance with regulatory standards, and the ability to optimize routes and resources for efficiency.
- Transport Planning & Coordination:
- Plan and schedule transportation activities for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Optimize routes and vehicle utilization to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
- Fleet Management:
- Monitor and maintain company vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with vendors for vehicle leasing, repairs, and insurance renewals.
- Vendor & Driver Management:




- Liaise with transport vendors and negotiate contracts for cost efficiency.
- Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to company policies, and manage performance.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, permits, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and expenses.
- Cost Control & Reporting:
- Track transportation costs and prepare periodic reports for management review.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
- Safety & Risk Management:
- Implement safety protocols for drivers and vehicles.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure quick resolution of transport-related issues.
- Key Skills & Competencies:

Solid knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
