Nature of The Job
- The role of the Team Leader [TL] is the first level of organizational hierarchy. The role of TL is to support a fully accountable management of the Associate Manager dealing with an otherwise excessive burden of oversight and control.
- The role is to assist the level above – aiding those at that level to manage their accountabilities,



and the other is to add value to and contribute to the efforts and training of those working at the lower level.
- The TL is the key advisor to the manager, the work planning horizon for this position ranges from a few days to three months.

Job Purpose
- The purpose of the job is to support the Manger in overseeing team operations and ensuring effective performance of frontline staff. Key responsibilities include assigning and monitoring tasks, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and training, and participating in decision-making regarding staffing and workflows.
- The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, enhancing skilled skills, and contributing to the organization's success by promoting collaboration, communicating effectively with the Manager, and continually striving for team improvement and optimal performance.
