Currently we are looking for DB Specialist with Mainframe.

Responsibilities
Role : DB Specialist,Mainframe
Exp : 7 to 10 Yrs
Location: Pune (WFO)
Notice : Immediate to 15 Days
JD
- Experience of database migration from Mainframe to cloud database
- Any one combination of skills DB2, IMS, Postgres, VSAM or Mainframe DB2, Postgres, VSAM
- Detailed JD also attached for reference.

Export customer data from legacy databases such as Db2, IMS, ADABAS, or IDMS
• Update taxonomy changes to reflect code changes in migrated mainframe code
• Migrate legacy database files to newly configured database solutions on PostgreSQL on Linux and Windows environments in the cloud
• Work with Project Managers and Implementation Engineers to further interpret and map customer data.




• Collaborate with our world-class Sales Team to review prospective customer data and provide a pricing quote
• Validate the data in both the original and destination systems
• Analyze the methods of transforming existing data into a format for the current environment and choose the best solution for the client’s situation
• Relational database experience with PostgreSQL required
• Scripting language experience preferred
• SQL experience required

Qualifications
Any Graduation Qualification is fine.
