We are hiring for a Senior Logistics Executive on behalf of our client, a global leader in soft commodities trading.
Location: Nagavara, Bangalore

Role Overview:
The Senior Logistics Executive will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient execution of contracts while adhering to all internal and external regulations. You will also act as a subject matter expert during migration processes and work closely with ITES and ERP systems. This role reports directly to the Head of Logistics based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain contract files
- Ensure shipping instructions are provided accurately and on time
- Coordinate shipping schedules with suppliers, agents, and buyers
- Handle shipping issues such as delays or equipment shortages
- Process shipping advice and update the system with accurate details
- Review incoming shipping documents and manage freight invoices
- Manage purchase invoices and provide payment instructions to the Finance team
- Issue sale invoices and manage documentation with banks, buyers, and agents
- Oversee warehousing and sampling instructions for unsold shipments
- Manage weight discrepancies and issue final invoices for any differences
- Handle rejected shipments and coordinate trucking to alternative locations
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both written & verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (Trade & Logistics/Sales & Distribution)
- Explicit understanding of customer contract processes and international trade terminology
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with agricultural commodities or FMCG business and trading
- Experience with continuous improvement tools like Lean Six Sigma
- Understanding of contract management, tariffs, and process documentation
Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in logistics and contract management
