Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will
- Own and deliver medium-sized quality engineering tasks while mentoring and helping team members in Power System Domain which includes Energy Management Systems, Market Management Systems
- Make technology choices at individual level and analyse impact
- Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
- Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process




- Create effective scenarios and tests following best practices like Behavior Driven Development (BDD ) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
- Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project
- Develop and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases

Test Strategy & Management:
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy, frameworks, and best practices to ensure software quality.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test automation strategies for complex software solutions.
- Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple projects.
- Ensure test environments, data, and tools are effectively managed for smooth test execution.
