Position: Senior Full Stack Engineer, Data Platform
Experience: 5+ years
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Pune
Shift: Time zone overlap time with US 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm IST

- Web applications are React + Node.js/Typescript, our data platform is a data lake in AWS.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with stakeholders. You will collaborate with Forge’s product, design, information security and business team members
- Develop concise, articulate and detailed documentation
- Leverage Agile and Lean practices
- Be able to gather requirements and plan actionable tasks for the team
- Design, implement, and maintain data-driven web applications
- Design, build and maintain automated unit and integration tests
- Support healthy system operations and ensure high levels of availability are achieved.



Be part of the on-call rotation during business hours

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent years of working experience in the field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in web development
- Experience developing with React and Node.js/Typescript
- Extensive experience in building Rest API and familiarity with GraphQL SQL, Data modeling, and Data cleanup experience
- Experience developing multi-tier web applications using modern techniques (Containers, k8s, CI/CD, OpenAPI, AWS cloud)
- Proven track record of teamwork and delivery
- Fintech or Financial services industry experience is a plus

Nice to have:
- Data Visualization experience (like Nivio Charts, Chart.js, D3.js)
- Experience in JavaScript frameworks like NestJS, Refine.js or Next.js
- Experience with modern data patterns (data lake, pipelines etc.) and python
