JD:
The AIX Unification Core team is looking for an Observability Engineer ideally with expertise in Kubernetes, Opensource Monitoring Technologies, and logging development.

Observability track is seeking a highly skilled individual to join their team and oversee the infrastructure pack layer. The individual will be responsible for monitoring the underlying Kubernetes application layers, registering business layer applications to the observability pack, and working with the observability and monitoring teams for insights.

This job requires a highly experienced Kubernetes qualified, who is a proactive developer, leader, and problem-solver. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and configuring the Prometheus Operator, as well as setting up and maintaining highly available Prometheus, Alert manager, node-exporter, Prometheus Adapter for Kubernetes Metrics APIs, kube-state-metrics, Grafana, Elasticsearch + Kibana, Open Telemetry, Jaeger and Fluent bit.





The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of Kubernetes and the tools mentioned above, possess excellent problem-solving and people management skills, and have a passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest technology trends. They must also have good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work collaboratively in a team, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
