Fire & Non-Fire Emergencies – Trainer
Position Title: Fire & Non-Fire Emergency Management Trainer
Employment Type: Freelance / Contract / Full-Time (As per requirement)
Training Mode: Onsite / Virtual
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and certified Fire & Non-Fire Emergency Management Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on workplace emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation procedures, and non-fire emergency response. The trainer will be responsible for ensuring participants are equipped with practical knowledge, compliance awareness, and hands-on response skills aligned with industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured training sessions on Fire & Non-Fire Emergency Management.
- Conduct live demonstrations, mock drills, and evacuation simulations.
- Train employees on emergency response protocols including fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, bomb threats, natural disasters, chemical spills, and workplace violence incidents.
- Provide hands-on training on fire extinguishers (PASS technique), alarm systems, and emergency equipment usage.
- Educate participants on risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational emergency policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, handouts, and evaluation reports.
- Support organizations in developing or updating Emergency Response Plans (ERP).
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and emergency response protocols.
- Expertise in evacuation procedures and disaster management practices.
- Practical experience conducting mock drills and safety audits.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage diverse groups including corporate employees, hospital staff, industrial workers, and facility teams.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to handle real-time scenario-based training effectively.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Certification in Fire Safety / Disaster Management / OSHA or equivalent safety certification preferred.
- First Aid & CPR Certification (mandatory).
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Fire & Safety Training, Emergency Management, or Industrial Safety.
- Experience conducting corporate or hospital-based emergency drills is preferred.
- Prior experience as a trainer or safety officer is an added advantage.

Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering Fire & Non-Fire Emergency Management training programs.

- Practical exposure to conducting mock drills (fire drill, evacuation drill, spill management drill, medical emergency drill, etc.).
- Ability to train employees on use of fire extinguishers, alarm systems, emergency exits, and assembly point procedures.
- Knowledge of regulatory safety standards applicable to corporate, industrial, or healthcare environments.
