Summary:

We are seeking a Senior SAP BW/Datasphere Data Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale SAP data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and digital experiences. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on SAP BW / BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere (Business Data Cloud / BDC), with responsibility for data modeling, integration, performance optimization, and downstream consumption.

The ideal candidate is a senior individual contributor who combines deep SAP data engineering expertise with experience enabling analytics across SAP Fiori, Power BI, and modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric (preferred).



This role plays a critical part in modernizing SAP data platforms while ensuring reliability, governance, and scalability.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models in SAP BW/4HANA (ADSO, Composite Provider, Open ODS Views, Transformations, DTPs) and SAP Datasphere (Analytical Models, Views, Data Flows).
- Build and enhance data extraction pipelines from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and non-SAP systems using ODP, CDS Views, SLT, and file-based integrations.
- Create and optimize transformations and routines (ABAP, SQL Script) to implement complex business logic and data harmonization.
- Design and configure process chains and scheduling jobs to automate daily, weekly, and monthly data loads.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data load failures, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies across BW/4HANA and Datasphere environments.
