Your future role
Take on a current challenge and apply your extensive networking and IT expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering complete Network and IT/AVP specifications and designs consistent with the System Delivery Plan and contractual requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as subsystem leads, signalling architects, and program teams), lead technical decision-making processes, and ensure compliance with engineering rules and project milestones.
You’ll specifically take care of designing and reviewing N&T; Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) specifications and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and network standards, but also support installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
We’ll look to you for:

Delivering efficient Network and IT/AVP design documents aligned with defined architecture and methods

Providing technical direction and expertise on Alstom DCS solutions and technologies

Collaborating with global teams and facilitating the exchange of information

Leading and coordinating detailed design activities, including configuration, surveys, and validation

Contributing to proof-of-concept studies and evaluating new design capabilities

Providing training and sharing technical expertise within teams and sites
