Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join our growing B2B eCommerce company. This individual will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, preferably in eCommerce business models, and a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
> - Prepare and analyse of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
>
> - Prepare financial statements are accurate, timely, and in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IGAAP).
>
> - Develop ad-hoc reports for senior management, highlighting financial performance, variances, and trends.
>
> - Ensure balance sheet reconciliations shared timely and accurately.
- Cash Flow and Working Capital Management:
> - Monitor cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs.
>
> - Analyze working capital requirements and provide recommendations for improving cash flow efficiency.
>
> - Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Financial Compliance and Risk Management:
> - Ensure correct returns for Income tax, GST, TDS and MCA are filed.
>
> - Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
>
> - Prepare financials periodically for statutory audits.
>
> - Coordinate with external auditors during audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
>
> - Lead GST cases with consultants.
>
> - Stay updated on changes in tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial best practices relevant to the eCommerce and B2B industries.4.
- Team Leadership and Development
> - Manage a small finance team (if applicable), providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
>
> - Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and problem-solving across departments.
>
> - Ensure that all finance team members have a clear understanding of the company’s financial goals and performance metrics.
- Technology and Systems
> - Lead efforts to implement and maintain financial systems, ensuring seamless integration with other business tools (e.g., ERP, CRM, payment platforms).
>
> - Collaborate with the IT department to ensure financial software and systems are scalable and efficient for a growing eCommerce business.
>
> - Leverage automation tools and financial modeling techniques to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
> - Chartered Accountant (Master’s or MBA preferred).
>
> - Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus.
>
> - 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
>
> - Prior experience in the B2B eCommerce or retail sector is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills
> - Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP system like Zoho books.
>
> - Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Key Competencies
> - Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
>
> - Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and completeness in financial reporting and compliance.
>
> - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
>
> - Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and mentor a small team, ensuring high performance and growth.
>
> - Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and make data-driven recommendations for improving financial outcomes.
>
> - Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities and demands.
NOTE : This role is strictly work from office itself, 6-days a week (Mon-Sat) in Sector-66, Gurugram, Haryana.
