Roles and Responsibilities:-
1. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and variance analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
1. Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
1. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide insights on variances.
- Assist in financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) activities.
1. Taxation and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
- Assist with audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
1. Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and improve financial performance.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
1. Support and Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and data to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
