Manager Indirect Tax Compliance

we are seeking an Indirect Tax Compliance Manager to assist establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on VAT and GST compliance across multiple regions and managing Amgen’s VAT/GST compliance. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of indirect tax operations and driving compliance efficiency.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a passion for technology, automation, and process excellence.
Responsibilities
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT filings and reporting in line with global and regional regulations.
- Monitor VAT/GST changes and assess impact on compliance processes and technology set-up.
- Proactively manage risks and establish strong internal controls.
- Partner with regional finance and tax to ensure local compliance requirements are met consistently.
